Szanowni Państwo Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Od 1950 roku komitety międzynarodowe (Inter Country Committees) pełnią rolę specjalnej platformy w ramach Rotary International przyczyniając się do porozumienia między narodami pielęgnując wszystkie działania zmierzające do pokoju na świecie. Since 1950, Inter Country Committees have served as a special platform within Rotary International, contributing to understanding between nations and fostering all activities aimed at world peace.
Dziesiątki tysięcy rotarian aktywnych w tych strukturach codziennie realizuje projekty, które przybliżają nas do pokoju pielęgnując tolerancję i szacunek dla innych. Rotarianie z Polski od ponad 30 lat są również aktywni w tej wyjątkowej sferze działań Rotary. W tym roku organizujemy wyjątkową i specjalną konferencję regionalną w Lublinie we wschodniej Polsce. Ta konferencja to kilka wydarzeń: Tens of thousands of Rotarians active in these structures carry out projects every day that bring us closer to peace by fostering tolerance and respect for others. Rotarians from Poland have also been active in this unique area of Rotary's activities for over 30 years. This year, we are organizing a unique and special regional conference in Lublin in eastern Poland. This conference consists of several events:
- spotkanie szkoleniowe dla polskich sekcji komitetów międzynarodowych; a training meeting for Polish Intercountry Committee Sections;
- spotkania Komitetów Międzynarodowych obydwu sekcji krajowych; meetings of the Intercountry Committees (both national sections);
- spotkania grup założycielskich nowych komitetów międzynarodowych oraz ich uroczyste czartery; meetings of the charter members of new ICCs and charter ceremonies;
- I wreszcie spotkanie integracyjne Rotarian z wielu krajów świata. and finally, an integration meeting of Rotarians from many different countries.
Jeśli mówimy o pokoju to nie musimy tego łączyć z ziemią, ochroną środowiska czy innymi tematami. Szczególnie tu w tej części świata. Od czterech lat trwa wojna wywołana przez agresję Rosji na Ukrainę. Dlatego tematem głównym i wiodącym tej konferencji jest „Pokój dla Ukrainy". Podczas specjalnej sesji poświęconej pomocy Ukrainie będziemy chcieli pokazać w jaki sposób można pomagać cywilnej ludności organizując pomoc humanitarną dla cierpiących ludzi. Tutaj Rotarianie maja wiele do powiedzenia ponieważ byli w awangardzie tej pomocy, a Polska wyjątkowo przez swoją lokalizację odgrywała i cały czas odgrywa wielką rolę. Ziemia Lubelska to też wyjątkowe miejsce na granicy z walczącą o pokój dla siebie i dla nas wszystkich Ukrainą. Gospodarzem i współorganizatorem wydarzenia jest Klub Rotary Lublin Centrum, który będzie podczas konferencji uroczyście obchodził swoje trzydziestolecie istnienia. To też dodatkowa okazja poznania Rotarian z tej części świata. When we talk about peace, we do not have to associate it with earth, environmental protection or other topics. Especially here, in this part of the world. For four years, there has been a war caused by Russia's aggression against Ukraine. Therefore, the main and leading theme of this conference is 'Peace for Ukraine'. During a special session dedicated to aid Ukraine, we will want to show how to help the civilian population by organizing humanitarian aid for suffering people. Rotarians have a lot to say here, as they have been at the forefront of this aid, and Poland, due to its location, has played and continues to play a major role. The Lublin region is also a unique place on the border with Ukraine, which is fighting for peace for itself and for all of us. The host and co-organizer of the event is the Rotary Club Lublin Centrum, which will be celebrating its 30th anniversary during the conference. This is also an additional opportunity to meet Rotarians from this part of the world.
Na naszą konferencję zapraszamy krajowych Koordynatorów Komitetów Międzynarodowych z wielu krajów świata. Zaprosiliśmy zarząd z Prezydent EC ICC Nathalie Huyghebaert, a swój udział zapowiedziała już Prezydent Elekt światowej Rady Wykonawczej ICC Annemarie Mostert (RPA) która obejmie swój urząd 1 lipca 2026 roku. We invite National Coordinators of Inter-country committees from many countries around the world to our conference. We have invited the board of EC ICC with President Nathalie Huyghebaert, and the President-Elect of the Executive Council, Annemarie Mostert (South Africa), who will take office on 1 July 2026. She has already confirmed her participation.
